Residential Services

Global Resources and Supports residential programs include Supporting Living, In-Home Support, Host Homes, and Intermitted Supported Living Arrangements.  Our highly trained Direct Support Professional and Behavioral Technicians support adults with differing abilities with daily living activities, complete hygiene maintenance (home maintenance and care), and community inclusion enhancing independent living skills. We specialize in financial literacy support for our persons and increase optimal healthy living outcomes.

Supported Living -Washington DC/ Maryland 


Our 24 hour staffed residential homes are furnished with top-quality furniture and amenities such as luxurious bedding and towels, in-house washers and dryers, high-speed internet, expanded cable, and professional cleaning services. Our residents have access to select their own groceries and participate in their own meal planning and cooking preparation. (Dietary restrictions are taken into consideration) We participate in community activities together and experiences fun outings based on each person’s interests. Our residents take annual vacations to the destination of their choice. 



Host Homes 


Provide an intimate family living situation from a host home provider who integrates our differently-abled adults in their family life and activities. Our Host Home program begins with a highly personalized matching process. We carefully select our providers and ensure they have the skills needed to support the individuals we serve. 



Intermittent Supported Living Arrangement (ISLA) and In-Home Support (IHS) 


Our Direct Support Professionals support differently-abled adults in their natural homes to live more independent, quality-driven lives. Services are provided from a minimum of serval hours per week to daily support from DSP staff according to identified needs and desires. Supports can range from Music Therapies to hygiene supports to fitness goals. 


The supports provided include but are not limited to: 

Hygiene support and hands-on "How to's." 

  • Hair, face, and body washing
  • Cleaning and independent living skills
  • Making beds, vacuuming, dusting, linen changing, toiletries 

Dress and appropriate clothing for appropriate situations 

  • Matching attire, rainy day attire, warm weather attire, beachwear (towels, bathing suite, SPF, etc.)

Basic home care

  • Laundry 
  • Safely sanitize areas (Covid 19)

Health and Fitness Goals

  • Healthy eating and meal preparation 
  • Physical exercise and walking
