From the management and staff of Global resources and supports, we want to wish you a warm and safe Holiday season. Please ensure that you are following all the safety guidelines to ensure your family and friends are all safe during the holidays. Safety tips for the holidays • This is a good time of the year to do a walk-through and check the home for electrical hazards and fire hazards. Turn on interior lights, walk around to make sure there is no light bulb or an electrical issue. • Check heating and cooling units to make sure they are in good working order. • Inspect smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. Check batteries at least once a year, and replace the batteries if they are over-the-counter type. • Keep children away from fireplaces. • Keep lawn furniture away from the house. • If a tree has fallen on your property, make sure the area around it is clear of obstructions, such as branches, logs, propane tanks, and other objects.
